Appearence: Rather than dressing the typical soul reaper outfit like all other soul reapers, Kai wears black and blood red zipped jeans, black leather vest zipped up halfway and a pair of blood red cutoff gloves. Kai also has blonde hair inherited from his mother that goes just below the shoulder blades usually kept in a spiky ponytail with a little of his hair framing his face. He's about 6ft 2.5in and of a lean musclar build. He also has his right arm decorated in many tattoos that it forms a sleeve while his left arm only has three tattoos so far and an earring in each ear.
Personality: Kai is usually a calm cool collected and often mysterious kind a guy with a secret addiction to the adrenaline gain in intense moments such as fighting or racing. Kai also enjoys spending time with the few friends he has as well as his family though his calm demeanor does little to show it. Lastly he is very protective of his close ones and anyone stupid enough to messed with with them often feels the wrath of his hollow like rage.
History:
During the war between Aizen and the Soul Society Harribel one of the top three Espada was betrayed by Aizen after serving him faithfully for so long she was pissed beyond belief when he tried to kill her after everything she sacrificed for him. Fatally wounded was how one Isshin Kurosaki father of Vizard Ichigo Kurosaki found her laying on the outskirts of the battlefield by the end of the war barely clinging to life. Isshin would then take her into his home despite her once being the enemy and nurse her back to health. As time went by the two grew closer together and before long Kai was born. Eventually Soul Society caught wind of this and were none to pleased going as far to say that Kai was impure and needed to be killed. Hearing this Isshin and Harribel decided to take Kai and hide out in Heuco Mundo for awhile leaving Karin and Yuzu in the care of Isshin's good friend Kisuke Urahara.
At the age of four Isshin and Harribel began training Kai in the ways of both the Soul Reapers and Hollows just incase he'd end up having to defend himself in a situtation against either of them since it was almost certain both sides would be out for his blood. By the age of eight Isshin began trying to teach him kido but despite his best efforts Kai just wouln't pick up on it like he did learning zanjutsu as well as hand to hand combat from both his parents. Seeing this he tried teaching the kid flash step seeing the kid was fast for his age and than small frame at the time. That too ended up a failure. Isshin was about ready to give up and also starting to miss his other three kids was about ready to call training a quits and bring his family back home, when he stumble upon a late night training session between mother and son where Harribel start teaching their boy sonido and cero.
By age thirteen Kai had become a master swordsman and was quickly becoming known to have the fastest sonido as he was put to the test with all out sparring against both parents sometimes two at a time. When he was sparring his parents he was meditating, listening to stories about his siblings or battling other hollows of varying skill and power. With each battle he came closer to mastering cero as well and during one such battle was able to call upon his Zanpakuto which turned out to be Zapakutos those he hasn't heard their names yet.
At the age of fourteen it was time to return to the world of the living. By now Kai had a spiritual pressure that rivaled his brother Ichigo's when he took on Zaraki Kenpachi at full strength the first time and now was the fast users of sonido tho and a master swordsman, however his cero still needed work. Once the three returned home they immediately began to connect with the rest the the family again and Kai began to get to know his siblings. However while in Heuco Mundo both Isshin and Harribel forgot to teach him how to surpress and hide his immense spiritual pressure as they were using as a beacon to draw in hollows to him as part of his training. Because of this Soul Society immediately became alert to the matter as it caused massive amounts of hollows to once again appear within the Karakura Town prompting them to send some out a team to investigate to source of the disturbance. Realizing why the hollow start showing up frequently before the soul reapers arrived and not liking Soul Society very much after hearing they wanted to kill him as a baby he didn't want to be found by anyone from their and have to deal with them just yet with out possesing shikai for either of his zanpakuto, Kai began learning to hide and surpress his spiritual pressure under the guidence of Kisuke Urahara. Eventually he did end up running into someone from the Soul Society and it was just his luck that of all the people to run to run into it was Soifon of all people. After a short fight with her in which he needs to be saved by Ichigo after he had pushed Soi Fon into using her bankai through the use of his sonido as he was to fast for her other wise, Soi Fon became impressed and intrigued by him after calming down and realizing he pushed her to bankai without releasing his zanpakutos, (she doesn't yet know he doesn't yet know their names) she vouched for him with the head captain of the gotei thirteen and he was allowed to be as long as he joined the gotei thirteen.
Now at the age of nineteen Kai a proud member of the second squad seated at the 11th seat until he decides to challenge to rank up is close to learning the names of his zanpakuto. The only reason he didn't already rank up in the ranks is because he was required to know some kido before being able to rank up. However many tried to teach him kido and failed it was decided that he'd be allowed to rank up after it was revealed that it was because of his use of cero that he wasn't able to learn kido and his sonido that got it to be decide that he could move up in the ranks but he could go no further then a fourth seat until he learned the name of at least one of his zanpakutos after it was discovered he didn't know them. However what they didn't know was Kai already awakened the shikai of one of his zanpakuto and chooses not to showcase this as yet. Kai had actually unlock Kyuushuu's shikai during his training under Kisuke's guildance and thought it best left as an ace in the hole.

Cero: (虚閃 (セロ), sero; Spanish for "Zero", Japanese for "Hollow Flash", 'Doom Blast' in the Viz translation, "Empty Disaster" if the kanji is literally translated) is a form of attack used by Menos, Arrancar and Vizard. Basically an energy blast, it consists of firing a blast of concentrated spirit energy at the target. While in most cases it is fired from the mouth, some Arrancar and Vizard are capable of firing Cero from their hands, fingers and other parts of their bodies. This often requires the user to under take a specific pose, with Coyote Starrk being the only exception. The power, force, speed, and blast area of the Cero is dependent on the strength of the user (i.e., the stronger the user, the stronger the attack), and there are some Arrancar and Vizard who have come up with their own variation.
Garganta (黒腔 (ガルガンタ), Garuganta; Spanish for "Throat", Japanese for "Black Cavity") is how Arrancars and Hollows move to and from Hueco Mundo. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. It is primarily used by Hollow and Arrancar, but some other characters have used it through different means.
There is also another use for Garganta, only shown once: Garganta Broadcast, a visual broadcast similar to a television screen, created by using individual Garganta portals. Ulquiorra Cifer does this in order to show the current predicament of Orihime Inoue's friends (Ichigo Kurosaki, Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto) fighting their respective battles.[1] It is unknown if he could create as many as desired, or if three broadcasts are his limit.
All Menos class Hollows and Arrancar are capable of opening a Garganta. In most cases, it opens with the distinctive segmented pattern, but in the case of the first Gillian-class Menos to appear in Karakura Town, and those at the Sōkyoku Hill, an opening is simply torn in the sky as if it were cloth, leaving jagged edges.
Also, Urahara Kisuke has demonstrated the ability to use the technique. The incantation he used is: "My right hand is the stone that bridges worlds. My left hand is the blade that binds reality. The black-haired shepherd is hung from a chair. Stratus clouds come, and I strike down the ibis". More recently, Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi has acquired the ability to use Garganta through extensive research whilst trapped in Hueco Mundo.
